Mothra Twins Doll Set
Contributed By: Pam Green; Description By: Pam Green

The dolls were basically just sitting loose in the box, wrapped up in that pink tissue paper you see in the photo. (This is *really* weird for Takara dolls, where usually the presentation is half the fun.) They each come with a clear plastic stand, a tiara (that I wish was Pam-sized, but we won't go into that ^_^), a little gold choker, and a teeny-weeny gold bracelet.
The box says c 1999, although this is the first I've seen of them popping up for auction. I recognize the markings of Takara (it's in English, too, duh!), Mediaworks, and I *think* Toho. The dolls use the body of Takara's Licca-chan doll, but the head molds are from Takara Jenny's friend, Kisara. (Jenny is the Japanese version of Barbie, and she has many, many friends.)
The face paint's actually very close to that used for Kisara, but you'd have to be a fanatic like me to notice the difference.
