Bandai Godzilla 1962 (King-Goji) Memorial Box Godzilla 62

The Memorial Box King Goji differs greatly from the both the 1983 standard issue and the 1986 Godzilla Forever Series version. The standard issue is both molded in green and is a hard vinyl, while both the G Forever and Memorial G 62 are molded in a soft vinyl and are a deep charcoal gray in color. Also, the spines and details on the original issue are silver, while the Memorial issue sports white highlights on the spine. In addition, the spines protrude much farther on the standard issue, possibly a result of the different types of vinyl used on the figures. The Memorial and Godzilla Forever figures much more closely resemble one another, and the main way to differentiate between the two is that the highlights on the G Forever figure are more grey than white in color.

The tag comes loose with the figure, making it something more of a card in actuality. The image on the front is from the original Japanese Style A One-Sheet for Godzilla v. King Kong. Like all of the figures in the Memorial Box, G 62 is limited to 3000 pieces and was available only in the box itself. Any individual Memorial Box King Goji figures available on the market come from a broken-up set.
