Mothra 1997-99
This Mothra figure was released in 1996 around the time of the movie Mothra. The figure is very colorful and has a wing span of ten inches. The body is soft vinyl, while the wings are hard plastic. By squeezing the back portion of Mothra's body you make the wings flap. The back of the box shows the toy in action. The figure was reissued in 1997 in new packaging as Rainbow Mothra, the variation from the second Mothra film. The '97 Rainbow Mothra has much a much more colorful paint job and box.
