The Bandai Godzilla '84 is one of the few versions of Godzilla to never have been reissued. The figure's tag on one side has the standard sunburst pattern all of the Bandai tags had from this era, with a closeup of G 84's face in the center. What's really interesting, though, is Bandai's choice of tag images for the 1984 Godzilla. The photo that appears on the back of the tag is of the "Cybot" Godzilla that was built for the film. This 4-meter tall mechanical prop was primarily used for close-ups and can be seen throughout in the film, even though is doesn't entirely match the Godzilla suit that was used. The actual coloring of the Cybot Godzilla is grey, so Bandai recolored the photo on the tag to appear green. G '84 was not sculpted at the same scale as most of Bandai's Godzilla figures. In fact, he would come up to about shoulder-height to most of the other Goji figures released at the time.
